Project Overview

The project involved migrating the organisation's SAP infrastructure to the Cloud, focusing on enhancing service delivery and operational consistency and optimising resource usage to align with the client's strategic goals.

Another important objective for the migration was to implement changes without creating downtime or disruptions to business operations or the end-user. The team planned the delivery strategy so that downtimes don't affect internal operations or customer service, mitigating stakeholder concerns regarding business as usual.

A big part of solving operational inefficiencies and inconsistencies was carefully managing existing legacy systems and the dependencies they generate, including both SAP modules and third-party integrations.

Results

  • The successful migration resulted in an uninterrupted service delivery and improved operational standards across the SAP environment.

  • The robust Cloud architecture we designed ensured a system availability of 99.75%, minimising downtime risks during the transition. The reorganised SAP ecosystem also reduced reliance on physical hardware, leading to cost savings and simplified management.
