Together, we have gone from developing custom software to better manage the wealth of data and processes banks deal with every day to combining our expertise to develop joint service offerings that support responsible digital growth for organisations. This milestone reflects a decade of working side by side, bringing together different skillsets to develop integrated solutions that help organisations grow securely and with a view to the future.
Building a Partnership Around Shared Experience
Over the years, our partnership with metafinanz has been shaped by a shared commitment to combining our know-how in digital modernisation, sustainability, and cybersecurity to address the evolving needs of European businesses. As the collaboration matured, it created the foundation for a closer partnership, enabling us to develop integrated service offerings that combine our proficiency.
Turning Cooperation into Meaningful Impact
Our journey together has continued to evolve through close cooperation and a shared commitment to developing solutions that address business and regulatory challenges. This approach is reflected in both our project delivery and the joint services we have developed together to support secure, forward-looking digital transformation.
Our collaboration has led to solutions like the enterprise-wide Governance, Risk, and Compliance (eGRC) web application. Together, we co-created and continue to work on a tailored software that integrates multiple internal systems and data sources, enabling faster and more accurate analysis and decision-making. Through a constant effort to better understand the customer's business objectives, our teams improved data visualisation, ensured reliable access to risk and compliance data, and supported stronger governance, improved risk visibility, and more informed decision-making. The web app also supports reliable, on-time reporting across global operating entities and provides management with greater transparency and control over governance and compliance activities, contributing to more effective resource allocation.
The solution was also designed with the people using it in mind. Its intuitive, user-centred design has supported smooth adoption across teams, with minimal training required and consistently positive user feedback, while fitting naturally into existing workflows.
As our collaboration grew and the laws and regulations regarding sustainability and digital security changed, we saw an opportunity to combine our skillsets and create two joint service offerings to address growing market needs. Greener Application Modernisation and Integrated Cybersecurity address sustainability, application modernisation, and cybersecurity as interconnected priorities.
Greener Application Modernisation combines our Application Modernisation experience with the Green IT knowledge of metafinanz. While Green IT includes all measures taken to reduce the energy and resource consumption of IT systems throughout their lifecycle, Greener Application Modernisation addresses the transformation of existing IT applications according to Green IT principles, helping organisations improve application performance and scalability while also embedding measures to make IT more sustainable.
The framework’s modular approach supports different stages of the transformation journey, from evaluating the carbon footprint of IT infrastructure and developing an understanding of Green IT principles to proof-of-concept development and full-scale application modernisation.
Integrated Cybersecurity unites our capabilities to help organisations strengthen their security posture and accelerate their cybersecurity journeys. The offering includes Cyber Health Checks, Security Operations Centres, Cybersecurity Awareness, Cyber Resilience, Resilient Supply Chain Ready, and a CyberTalent Programme, alongside an assessment that helps businesses evaluate and select solutions based on their individual needs.
eGRC and the two joint services serve as examples of how our collaboration evolved to span project delivery and shared services, from creating solutions that improve reporting, visibility, and decision-making to developing joint offerings focused on more sustainable technology landscapes and stronger digital security.
Celebrating Shared Milestones
Beyond our day-to-day collaboration, our partnership has continued to grow through opportunities to connect, exchange perspectives, and celebrate shared milestones. metafinanz joined us at Tech in Motion, our annual technology conference, as well as at Accesa in Motion, where they joined us in celebrating Accesa’s 20-year anniversary.
During the celebration, Alina Tirla and Rainer Göttmann reflected on what has helped sustain the relationship over the years. Their conversation highlighted the value of meeting face to face and creating shared experiences, exchanging knowledge and perspectives, and maintaining an open dialogue about both successes and challenges. They also spoke about the importance of feeling integrated into each other’s teams, being encouraged to share perspectives, and working through challenges together.
These experiences have helped shape a collaboration grounded in openness, mutual understanding, and a willingness to continuously learn from one another as we look towards what comes next.
